Title: The Next Generation
Post by: LKap on June 17, 2018, 04:55:50 PM
I had a great Fathers Day today.  Here in Michigan you are allowed to start driving at 14 and 9 months with an adult so I figure Id better start early.  My son turned 14 last week.  He learned to drive stick today on the front lawn!!

That's great!

I got two of my three kids to love stick shift. They both bought stick cars.
The third one tried, but never took to it. I'm still trying (she's 25 now).

My younger daughter (now 23) still wants to learn stick.
We've been out twice in the last couple years in my JK which is a challenge for a beginner. She's been so busy we haven't completed her education but she's still interested.
One of these days.
Keep indoctrinating those younguns.

Our three kids were raised on a ranch and learned to drive the Jeep, pickups & tractors.
I introduced two grandsons to driving stick.  I have to get with my oldest granddaughter soon.  She is 14 going on 22 and thinks she needs a pickup.  Kids & grandkids sure grow up too quick.
