Title: Self checkout

Ok, personally I don't care for a self checkout, call me lazy, hard headed, or what ever, I get aggrivated easy when you go to a store and they have one checker and four to six self checkout cash registers. There is always a line at the person check out cash register and nobody is going, or very few, to the self checkout.
Anyway, I believe you should get a discount if you check yourself out, kinda like an employee discount for being the cashier

Indirectly, you may be receiving a discount.  Employees are a major expense for a company.  If you don't have to cover the cost of additional checkers during certain shifts, the business can possibly avoid raising the price of your products.

I'm not a fan of them simply because they never seem to work that well for me.  The monitor (employee) always has to come and reset/override the damn thing.   :-?

Don't go thru a self checkout if you by beer! You will have to wait for an assistant to verify your age!

One of the grocery stores around here has an order on line and they load your groceries in your vehicle when you get there, they send you a text once they have it all boxed up and you text when you're outside in the designated parking spot.
I've thought about ordering a six pack and have them bring it to the truck
