Title: Cataracts

[size=12]I don't wish to sound like an old codger with nothing better to do than discuss his medical problems, but. If I am slow to respond here's why. Yesterday I had cataract removal surgery on my left eye. It was an all-day affair. Down for at least a week. No lifting over five pounds and no bending below my considerable waistline. I'm back down there next week for the other eye. While painless, it is temporarily debilitating. My left pupil has yet to close from full open. No carb work for about two weeks. Little, if any driving. Full recovery should be quick. Let's hope what's left of my mind can hold out against the coming boredom. And the ever watchful eagle eye of my long-suffering wife. I sneaked in here to the computer to catch up.[/size][/b]

Hang in there and best of wishes to you!  Just be patient........the wife can't keep an eye on you ALL the time.. ;)

New methods for cataracts sure are better than the old ways years ago. It will heal quickly

Sorry. Been busy. Distant vision is much improved (20-15). Near is coming along. The drops they had to use to open the pupils wide enough to perform the surgery have had a lingering effect so just have to wait it out and use 2.00 readers sparingly. Thanks for asking.
