It was such a nice day I just couldn't pass up the chance to get out on a Jeep trail. I tried to find another Jeep and driver to go along, but with such short notice it ended up just my wife and I.

Sometimes Lucille will drive if there are no other Jeeps along.

We love the rocks, the trees, the cactus, and the sunshine.

There's Lucille, taking a water break sitting on Saddle Rock.

We found an arch we had never seen before.

So we decided to look around and found another.

Then we saw a giant coming and we decided to run.

Soon we realized the giant was just my wife's Native American mythical grandmother (My wife is a Navajo, you know).

Next the giant placed her foot right where I had almost parked my Jeep.

Last photo before we ended our ride. A great day on the trail in November.

Was that on Redd's farm? It looks like you and Lucille certainly enjoyed getting out on a trail and acting like kids again. If I lived in Blanding I would be on Redd's farm many times through the winter. In fact I would be on many trails during the winter and since I put 800 miles on the trails in one month in the Jeep I think I would put several thousand miles on the trails if I lived in Blanding. That is if the BLM will permit me to drive on THEIR LAND.
Have the Environmentalists and BLM put up the NO TRESPASSING signs on their land yet?

Yep, it's the trail on Redd's Farm. As far as the BLM and environmentalists go, it's been real quiet. Maybe it's just the quiet before the storm. Or, maybe they've all gone back to where ever they came from.

We're jealous Calvin. What a wonderful time we had with you and Lucille and Carl and Betty. Glad you got some good outdoor weather. Looking forward to getting back up there soon. Mac and Robin
