still trying to figure the number over water pump
and im like 80% sure body doesnt fit engine
body is
452 GB1
37705

now engine casting number : ï¿½641087-L-W5A-NI-CR-N2 with 2 "CC" over

then date casting number : ï¿½3-4

i know im not the first one asking this ï¿½::) ï¿½read alot on it ï¿½but still missing info, if anyone can help
try to find out year assembly....or do i realy need number over water pump

The serial number of the jeep does'nt exactly match with the engine.

Post by: F Bill on October 14, 2012, 08:12:37 PM: Definitely the engine needs a complete dismantling and cleaning... then post some more pictures if you don't find any fatal cracks or severe wear..... Your clutch looks too rusty and greasy to even consider using it for anything but a core.

Actually I just bought a house for a rental a few months ago. It had trap doors in the garage, 2"x2" and a funnel beside them. Gee I wonder what they were for. In door plumbing

When in doubt, never touch the funnel ;D

only had problem with #2 piston, rest seems pretty tight
