Title: Another Fire Jeep build

For the past few months, I've been kicking around the idea of turning the red jeep into a chief's car. I was getting pretty bored with it just being a run of the mill jeep. Today I was at a swap meet and picked up this siren for $180 and the light and siren both worked!  :o They usually go for $400-500.

Bored or not, I bet it'll still be tough to drill holes through that pretty red fender!! Neat accessory.

Yeah I know. I've done it before though for the top and the hood blocks.

Pretty neat... love your lic. plate. Wondering if I'll be able to do the same in Illinois and put some vintage 1950 plates on my 3A when I'm done working on it. [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Oh yeah Ryan, they love me haha.

I don't run vintage plates on it. I just keep one on the front and the proper one on the back. Too many restrictions with the vintage ones.

Finally we got some snow, so I just had to take the jeep out to plan it! Man, the passenger seat is really rattling around!

Got some more goodies for Red. Another fire extinguisher which is the same brand as my other one and I painted the first aid kit. I have to build a mount bracket for the fire extinguisher.

And now I have to bolt down all the stuff in the back. I had to move the little fire extinguisher from the driver's rear wheel well to between the seats.

Very nice, I thought water cans were painted blue. But red matches the Jeep better.
