The engine was not original, After a long search with the casting number engine I found that the engine belongs to a Willys �39 later know as AMERICAR. Engine wear was notorious once was disassembled

This is my CJ3A Project looks like in good conditions but bad previos work make more challenge the restoration.

The first picture shows the grill. Well the grill was "hand made" and pretty bad adaptation. I will post the details that I found. Any suggestion are welcome!!!
