athawk11 the power has never been lacking for me, but I bet much of that is due to the 5.38 gears...crazy...I'll have to slap on some K&N stickers for some additional horsepower ;D

One of the most terrifying things I have done in my life is drive 45mph in that CJ. Thought the wheels had fallen off. I rebuilt the steering system, but I have not changed all the bearings for the axles. Do you think the bearingss could make this big of a difference?

I'm around the Mansfield area. And no it was at Bridgeport off road park, but I wish it was my property!

I love the Jeep community. As far as talent, I don't have any of that ::) so I built the Jeep with my Grandpa. He brought the talent part. I just turned wrenches and picked up welding.

Can y'all tell me anything about this fall colors tour I keep hearing about?

Thanks for sharing the video Shane. Your Jeep looks great. Where are you located? I'm in Bedford.

Many of the CJ3A and CJ2A restorations is what I was trying to achieve on my Jeep. athawk11 was my go to builds and Tim did an outstanding job on both his projects. There are a lot of talanted people on both the CJ2A and CJ3A websites. I think that there is hidden talent in all of us but Jeeps guys and gals are the awesome!

It's a f-head 134. Nothing too exciting other than it ran when I picked it up and I haven't done much to it. It does make for an ugly, but necessary hood scoop I made.   :P

Howdy all! My first attempt at posting got deleted and I spent more time than I would like to admit making the perfect post...oh well.

Anyway, I decided to join after I saw the amazing restorations by Tim, George, and Ryan(?). I was truly amazed by the quality of the builds ( and  a little sick to my stomach when comparing my build to y'alls) but mostly amazed.

I am a broke college student that owns a part Cj3A, part M38, part Red RTV machine. (that stuff was everywhere)

I will attach a video of my humble Jeep in the next post.

No one has ever driven my Jeep and not walked away with a smile, though it's possible some were laughing at me. It's hard to tell sometimes ;D But, I bought this 4x4 to enjoy the outdoors and some time with friends and family. I always have a smile on my face when driving it.
