Sounds like a perfect place for an old Jeep. My poor girl travels mostly on black top, but its a lot of fun.

One thing I really didn't expect was the amount of love people of different back grounds show towards old Jeeps. Seems like everyone I meet has a story about a Jeep.

Its a lot of work but you won't be sorry

I haven't had a Jeep in years, but got the itch again.  My previous one was a 80 CJ5 with the GM 4 banger.  This time around, I'm looking at Flatfenders, CJ3A or CJ2A.  I'm still learning what I can before I seriously start looking to buy one.

I found the CJ2A forum a week or so ago, and accidentally found this one in a google search for something else.

Anywqy, I'm retired Navy living in NW Tenn on my wife's family farm.  Nice rural area dotted with small towns.  Just the kind of place to go putting around in an old Jeep.
