You might want to wander over to the CJ-3B forum.
They have a DJ specific section.
They might be able to give you some good serial number info.

This is before... tomorrow sometime I'll take a few pics of my current status... I cleaned the carb and installed new points, condenser, coil, resistor, plugs, derusted the starter, cleaned the oil pan and replaced the gasket, replaced the toilet paper filter with a cartridge filter, did some temp wiring for the battery and new key start. Currently I dropped the tranny yesterday and cleaned the sludge and gears... cleaned off the surface rust. It's only been 2 weeks lol and I feel I made some serious progress!! The engine fires up!

It's missing a bunch of stuff! I wanted to join here and show the progress and I'm going to need some help figuring out what's missing and where certain hoses go...

Welcome to the 3A Page.  The Dispatcher is a cool little Willys.  Post some photos when you get a chance.

I live in Los Angeles, California. I work for a large appliance manufacturer performing in home appliance service. I just acquired a 1963 Jeep Dispatcher (to be verified via a forum post) in need of some TLC. Can't wait to share my restoration project with everyone!

Thank you all for your expertise in advance!!
