When I had my body work done, I didn't worry about the floor, as I was planning to put mats in. I just cut two individual mats from some heavy rubber material that I found at Lowes, and it works fine. I recently saw a photo of a 3B with a full front mat and it really looked nice, but I guess I will stick with what I have.
Chuck, I've got a floor mat but it was bought years ago. I took it out and fit it just to see how it looked. But I also saw how flimsy it was and returned it to the box where it has been ever since. The material wasn't heavy like a floor mat. It would have worn out real fast.
I bought mine a long time ago and not from KW. I would have to really scour through all the receipts to see who sold it. But seeing that image with the creases makes me think this is also way too thin. Who knows, it may be the same material - not floor mat material. Who knows, maybe the same supplier.
My plan was to hold on to it and maybe use it for a pattern, but I've read some just use cardboard to rough out a pattern. Then I read what others were doing:
Kinda changed my perspective on the floor mat thing. Good point about collecting debris and water under the mat. Also, if mats are used, cheap material is available.
Has anyone used the full front floor mat sold by Kaiser Willys? How did it fit? I have seen some cheaper ones on e-bay but they don't look like they fit as well.
