Buddy was a lot of fun to hang out with.  We spent a lot of time crawling over his jeep so I could get some good documentation and share jeep stories over some really good BBQ!

Lawrence (Buddy) Wade died on Sunday, 14 December 2025 at the age of 90.  His all-original 1955 CJ-3B has been a source of inspiration to many Jeep owners in their restorations, and there are many photos of it on CJ3B.info.  In particular, you may be familiar with the page of detail photos taken by Rus Curtis, at https://CJ3B.info/Owners/WadeDetails.html

Lawrence's wife Ora Lee, who rode with him in his Jeep for 60 years, had passed away six years ago.  He is pictured here with his grandson Michael Robinson.
