I've got the #2 style seat (from link Bob shared) but wanted all seats to feel the same after re-covering them.  No springs.

I wonder if anyone documented what they had/have.  Looking at the later style 3A/3B the cushion seems more robust allowing for more compression before bottoming out.

There is some good information about rear seats on The CJ-3B Page in the following link in case you have not seen it. Unfortunately the article does not show any springs.

Looking for some pictures or info on the tall back rear seat springs.  Can't seem to find any info on them.

If anyone has some original springs they would like to share some pictures?  I would appreciate it.

Making seat springs for jeeps is my specialty.  The MB, GPW and early CJ2a stuff I've nailed down but getting into later stuff I'm still learning.

Thanks for the help!
