Up to serial number 451-GB1 32192 the 4lb cap was standard for a CJ-3A with a side mounted radiator. After that the 7lb cap was standard.

A quick reference to my Service Manual, H-16. COOLING SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS, states:

CJ-2A, CJ-3A................4 1/2 psi
CJ-3B, CJ-5, CJ-6, DJ-3A .....7 psi

Is a 4lb or a 7lb radiator cap correct for a 1952 CJ3A with a side mount radiator? Thanks
