I agree. Much better off to locate a new carb body.
The only possible way to patch would be via thermal bonding such as TIG welding or silver solder.
That is very unlikely to work due to metal composition and impurities.
Expect that as soon as you apply heat many other pin holes will open up.

Think "safety" first around gas issues... IMO.

If you have one hole, you'll likely have another soon. Patching doesn't work as a permanent solution to the issue and may even cause more problems down the road. I have spare parts for WOs.

For those younger readers, that's an old Hank Williams Sr. song. On to my problem.
I removed my Carter WO from my CJ3a, and rebuilt it. The float bowl was almost full of some white powdery stuff. I cleaned it the best I could along with the rest of the carb, and replaced as many parts that I could from a rebuild kit I received when I bought the jeep. The good news, is that it runs great now with the choke open. The bad news is , the float bowl has a pin hole in the lower corner, and is squirting out fuel.
Question: Is there a way to repair it? I'm thinking JB weld or solder. Is there a product out there for this specific purpose, that doesn't de-solve in fuel?

\I really hate to buy a new Carb right now, because my shopping list is already quite extensive. I know I can get a solex cheaper, but rather stay with the original Carter. Right around 300 Bucks.
