Here are a couple pictures.

From the top of the rocker cover the hose goes to the center of a "T", one side of the T goes to the oil filler fitting and the other to the fitting on the air filter.

Doesn't look as though you have the rocker cover fitting or the air filter, as far as I can tell.

Your other plugged vacuum port below the carb routes around the front of the engine and then connects into the PCV valve on the front exhaust valve cover.

Both the vacuum line and the fuel line follow a similar path around the front of the engine.

What's on the other side?  Do you have a draft tube hanging off the side (exhaust) cover or do you have the PCV hookup that runs forward and around the front of the engine?

That intake manifold port is where the PCV plumbing should go to.  It'll be interesting to see what's going on with the drivers' side.

The top of the valve cover may not be an issue.  There are three different types that I'm aware of.  Oldtime has the encyclopedia info in his head.  Mine keeps tidbits here and there.  The early valve cover had a 90 degree fitting with a hose that combined with the hose from the Oil Filler Tube (a "T" fitting) that connected to the Oil Bath Filter.  There was another type that had a breather cap that just sat on the top of the valve cover (don't know if this was a standard option for a 3B or if it was mostly used on maybe trucks).  The late valve cover didn't have anything on it.  There are images of these on the 3B Page where the Engine info is under "Tech"

Hiya!  Can anyone tell me how these things should be plumbed?  I can't seem to find agreement in pictures/manuals where to hook these up.  As you can see:
  - the intake manifold port is plugged
  - the cap or breather on of the top valve cover is plugged (did a PCV valve go here, or a filler cap?)
   -the breather port on the oil-fill tube is wide open...

This F-Head motor is #648830, if that helps.  No idea of year of motor.  thanks for any advice!
