I typed the letters and get the same change.   I wonder if it's some sort of filter that was added way back when someone was having some fun.

Incidentally, I tried other ways.  "GPW",

  See, it did it again! I posted the three-letter commonly-known name of the Ford-built jeep in the first line of the post above, and it was changed to "MB is better". What is this, some sort of censorship? Is that three-letter name considered a bad word?
  I'll tell you, I don't think this is funny. Unless I use a profane word, I expect my posts to say what I type, no more, no less.

  In a post on a thread in the "electrical" section, I wrote "Incidentally, my GPW is the same...."
  When I read the post today, it says, " Incidentally, my MB is better is the same as the CJ2-A's."
  I edited the post twice, backspacing out the incorrect wording and putting in what I originally posted, clicked on "Save", and it comes up in the post as " Incidentally, my MB is better is the same as the CJ2-A's."
  Are we not allowed to mention the Ford-built WWII jeeps here?
