This is the best stuff I have ever used. A guy on You Tube restored old equipment " Hand Tool Restoration" I think it is called. They are one of his sponsors. I bought 5 gallons from Northern Tool. No bad chemicals and VOC's reusable and so simple. Working through a bunch of saws I got and just amazed how easy. Just soak it until rust is gone rub with fine steel wool very lightly rinse with water and dry off. You can't over soak it and can plunk it back if some parts did not come clean and you need to do a little more rubbing.
Here is my tank, just 3/4 plywood and caulking. Drove some aluminum finish nails and cut off head to keep blades up a bit. The white stripe is a reflection from a shop lights
Just a handsaw to try first. It was pretty crappy. Maybe 3 hours soaking
This is at least a 100 year old hacksaw. The company quit using the trademark in 1920
2 back/saw mitre blades. Bottom is my Grandfathers. They are at least 60 years old
