You can thank one of our leaders for the G.P.W issue.  He added G.P.W  to the "bad words" list.  The Forum overwrites bad words.  You can choose a word or phrase to show up in the place of a bad word.  In this case G.P.W gets overwritten with " MB is better".

Signature is not posting correct. 1942 G P W is auto correcting to “mb is better” not the case. The love is equal across the fleet ;D

Hello to all!
I’ve been restoring and enjoying vintage WWII vehicles for years. Currently working on my personal Cj3a. Restoring my CJ has been fun and rewarding and to this point parts are a lot easer to find versus WWII Jeeps and WWII Dodge trucks. I’ll try my hand at posting pictures soon. (The short story) Started the restoration of the CJ3a about 10 years ago then took a reprieve to coach youth baseball, focus on the family and improve my position in my career. That meant making room in the garage for the baseball mom mobile and kids stuff ??? All things being cyclical life has slowed back down and I’m back to bringing the old Jeep back to life. Best of all I’m not alone in the garage anymore. My boys (clones) :D are helping me now, learning to turn wrenches and how vehicle’s work. Kinda rare in theses days of computers and coffee shops! I’m looking forward to sharing what I know and learning new things at the same time with the forum. Thanks for the welcome!!!
