I did reference that quite a bit, although I ended up not using the turbo intake that I scrounged. I bought the engine and bell housing from a fellow in the interior of BC that pulled it from a jeep he had bought to rebuild, so a lot of the work had already been done. even came with engine side motor mounts. I had to mickey mouse the adaptor plate to work with my T-98-A homemade adaptor, seems to be working ok even though double adaptors is not the best idea. Time will tell.

Future plan is a re-ring and re bearings on my current 2.3, and possibly a holly sniper fuel injection. The price is making me wince however.

Tires are 235-85-16's from Uncle Weiners ( really, that's the name ) http://unclewiener.com/product/suretrac-mt200-wide-climber-tires/
I think they were around 185 a tire, cheaper than name brand but still a little pricey.

not the best quality I'm sure, but they did balance out ok, and ride pretty good compared to the NDT's I was using.

Ill take a few pics when I get the chance to run it through a car wash, its incredibly dirty right now from road salt. I have a couple pictures of the modification I did on the Jiffy Cab as well if you'd be interested. I referenced the build on the 3B page, but not to that level of finish, its just a tremclad paint job with plexiglass windows.

If you would like to send me a few words about the engine swap etc. and maybe a photo that would be great.  Did you get any ideas from  https://cj3b.info/Tech/PintoEngine.html ?

David, that is one sweet looking 3B!  I think even the color could grow on me over time.  ;D ;)  Those tires look pretty nice too.  Can you share what they are and the size?  That top looks perfect on there too.  Good score!

Toasty is an understatement, My beloved long suffering Wife bought me Princess autos finest heater a few years ago, it makes it Drivable at up to -15 c. I actually wouldn't hesitate to drive it at lower temperatures, but the cheap import tires I have on there are like hockey pucks at that temp, and it wouldn't be safe traction wise.

if your still interested I can maybe do an update?

I've done most things to improve the driveability, most have helped. I do take it to work at least a few times each month, and am planning a road trip to Moab next year with a couple friends ( 48 cj2a, 61 FC 170 ) should
be a fun trip, 4K kms round trip. ( well, that's the goal, it may be shorter )

Hello all, I'm from Alberta Canada, I have a 61 cj3b ( now modified ) , and an fc170 project.
I've owned a couple over the years, YJ, TJ etc. seems like my B is my favourite one.
B has front discs, 8274, ford pinto engine, t98-a transmission.
