Is there a "Forgotten Password" link?  I can't see one.  Or should somebody who has lost their password just re-register?  I guess there is a good chance their old membership has been deleted anyway.

I don't have a problem with this "use it or loose it" policy.

And it may actually save the forum some problems at some point in the future.
Plus it makes the member list much easier to manage.

The new forum now allows guests to see all the posts and even answer them if they want.
I believe that we want active members in the forum that will allow its future development and enrichment.
We want committed and involved members.
People who simply want to use the forum as a resource and have little interest in posting or responding to messages can do so as a guest.

Pascal,  by "inactive" do you mean they just aren't even logging in?  If so, I agree with your decision to cut them loose. 

But if you mean that they just aren't making posts, then you might reconsider.  I expect there are many folks out there who just wish to use the forum as a resource and have little interest in making posts or replying to posts.  Just my opinion...

Hi,

I have deleted old and inactive members.
 
All members that was inactive more than a years and didn't post anythings get deleted.

In future, all new members will have 30 days to activated their account, if not they will be deleted.
