Chasm. How many trophies have you and Old Yeller racked up so far?

Well, I don't actually know. They collect dust in my garage... I guess maybe a dozen or so... wish I could trade them for Jeep parts! I really don't go to shows with a desire to win trophies... I actually like the commraderie and introducing kids to vintage Jeeps! I let the kids climb in and out and get their picture taken by their folks. If we don't encourage the young folks to get involved in restoration, all of the early Jeep history will slowly be lost!

It appears that you had fun, even in the rain. I really like the matching trailer - looks super sharp. Nice work.

I took Old Yeller and the '47 Bantam trailer to the 17th Annual PA Jeeps Show in York, PA last weekend. The Mrs. and I camped on the York Fairgrounds, as we are PA Jeeps Club Members and were up there Thursday and Friday setting up in the rain. I left the good camera at home due to the weather, but did grab a few cell phone shots. Sadly, the overall Willys turn-out was very low.

Here is a shot from FaceBook that someone else took of my 3A and Bantam at the show.

Sweet restored Navy Jeep with machine gun & Bantam too!

Mopar Underground was at the event with several of the new Jeep Concept Vehicles. After I had a run on the obstacle course, I snuck Old Yeller in line next to the "Pork Chop" & "Nukizer" Jeeps. Just wanted to make sure these young 'uns had a chance to meet their GrandPa!

Pic of some fat, bald guy holding a trophy! ;D

Jeep Shows are always fun. It's good to get the vintage steel out there for all of the new Jeepers to see and appreciate!
