The 20th Annual Willys Picnic was a huge success. The weather was perfect, so the Jeeps came out! There were 84 vintage Jeeps registered and a few more that that somehow missed the sign in. Every year more and more later Jeeps come out to the show and line up in the adjacent field. Overall there had to be over a hundred Jeeps here. And then there was the swap meet area. I've never seen so many vintage Willys parts for sale in one place!

Thanks to Seth and the Windyhill crew for putting on an incredible show. It couldn't be done without them. I hope everyone had a chance to ride the train, visit the gift shop and eat at the food stand. The Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad is by far the best venue we have ever had for the Willys Picnic and they appreciate the support.

We gave away a ton of door prizes and raffles. Please support and thank the sponsors. Quadratec, Walcks 4WD, JB Stoltzfus, East Coast Willys and Larry "rocketeer" Long.

The Great Willys Picnic, Show and Swap Meet
Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 9 am - 4 pm at the Wanamaker, Kempton & Southern Railroad
located in Kempton, Pennsylvania

It's time to plan for the 20th annual Great Willys Picnic, Car Show and Swap Meet. All vehicles are welcome: stock, modified, projects, CJs, Wagons, Trucks, Jeepsters, Military, Cars and even GPWs! Every pre-1970 Willys vehicle is eligible to win door prizes. This show has grown into the largest Northeast Willys event. There is plenty of space for selling your spare parts in the swap meet area. Bring your Willys memorabilia and interesting parts for show and tell. Be sure to arrive early because at 3:00 PM the door prize winners are announced and awarded. Bring your own picnic lunch or purchase food at the refreshment stand. This event goes on Rain or Shine.

The Picnic will be held on the grounds of the Wanamaker, Kempton Southern Railroad http://www.kemptontrain.com located in the scenic village of Kempton, Pennsylvania. This is a great setting to display our classic Willys vehicles, as well as entertainment for the entire family. Also on-site is the Schuykill & Lehigh Model Railroad Club's HO model train display.

As always the Willys Picnic, Show and Swap is free. Plan to take the optional train ride for a very reasonable fee. Click here for directions to the RR http://www.kemptontrain.com/directions/
