You don't need to get custom steering and pedals, just find a nice donar car or cars.

I have a GM 4.3L V6 in my M38 (3a) the steering is a Saginaw set up, power steering pump, clutch, gas and brake pedals and linkage from a chev S-10, steering rack from a CJ-7. They all work nice with the motor.

Your going to want to beef up those axles and brakes, 200hp will start bending stock axles and the stock brakes won't be much use either.

And if you want to keep the low hood line of a 3a, a 1 1/4" body lift will give you clearance to mount your motor without having to go to a 3b body and hood.

Are you using the standard stock steering or going with the Saginaw set up since you will be having 200 plus HP?

1950 CJ 3A (now a 3B to give room to the new GM Vortex 6cyl engine) Frame and parts are powdercoated. New drive train, and brand new steel 3B body from Kaiser Willys still in crate.
I've had this project with 2 shops since losing my warehouse in Hurricane Sandy.� So far both have had issues trying to fit steering and pedal system to the new engine setup.� Body is mounted, drive train in.� But I have to remove it from the current shop because he cannot seem to figure out what to do for steering.  Also have two underseat polyethylene fuel tanks that need to be connected somehow.
Anyone in here know of someone willing to customize some steering and pedal setups?� I'm in NJ on the northern part of the Jersey Shore, Atlantic Highlands.� Any help in finding someone to finish this so I can drive it would be very much appreciated.
