Howdy! Maybe I'll get to see this rig during the trail run!

I've been meaning to ask, why the different colors on the body?

So the story as i was told by the guy that started building it 15 years ago for his friend. The builder was SVE performance in CT, all they had was the engine, frame and the replacement tub, but the owner wanted to see it painted, so SVE started painting all loose parts, hood, fenders, grill tailgate, glove box  door, then they got sidetracked and other things caused it to sit for a year, and apparently the tub was showing surface rust and he got nervous, so the owner, not SVE, sanded the rust, primed it and slapped on the only paint he had around, the green, to keep the rust at bay.

The guy ended up never going forward with it and it sat and was sold a few times, till i got it and finished it. Its too bad about the paint, because i like the tan, and you can tell it was a nice job when it was done, but its beat now, and the green looks like it was put on with a brush.
