A. Lay on your back, reach under the dash and remove the 3/4" nut bit by bit...very tedious and frustrating...
or
B. Remove the chrome front piece and easily remove your governor socket from the dash...
I found out there was an easy way, only after about 40 minutes of struggling with my head under the dash....
Isn't that the way it always happens?
