« on: December 11, 2011, 07:25:04 AM »I just did the exact same thing about a month ago. Listen to the advice about the jack stands. Get it as high as possible while still being safe. Also spray your transfer case lever retaining pin with some PB Blaster or your choice of whatever because it will make it easier to get it out when it is time to deal with it. Search the forum for this topic because this can really slow you down if you can't get it out. While you are at it, start lining up a alignment tool for your clutch install. Search for this also as there is lots of good info on this site. One last thing, GET A TRANSMISSION JACK! It will make the job way easier, plus you have less of a chance of breaking something or you.
