I would just buy a new mirror head. I bought a new repro for my Jeep and it is just fine.

I WAS WONDERING IF THE ROUND MIRROR GLASS IS REPLACEABLE ON THE SIDE MIRROR. IT LOOKS LIKE THE RETAINING RING THAT HOLDS IT IN PLACE IS PRETTY TIGHT. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF REPAINTING EVERYTHING FOR MY RESTORATION AND THE MIRROR GLASS IS NOT TO CLEAR. OR DO YOU HAVE TO BUY THE COMPLETE MIRROR HEAD WITH THE GLASS?
