Yeah my bellhousing came out of a 49 Jeepster which has the clutch fork on the right side, my 3A has the clutch fork on the left side.

Originally there was no boot on the opening with the clutch linkage.

Walcks "tin plate" hole cover is for closing the  hole not used. What I'm looking for is the rubber boot used around the clutch fork in the hole that is used.Hole measures 1-1/8" high x 2-1/8" wide.

It's a sheet metal cover with small radius corners about 1/8" or so.
Has a screw at center which holds it into position via another smaller sheet metal plate on the inside.

Well, that describes Walck's part in detail.  Looks like I need to add this part to my list!

My 3B has two holes, but I don't think I've ever heard of one of these. But, then again, I haven't heard of a lot....

I dug out my CJ3B Parts Manual and found this:

GROUP 10-22 - FLYWHEEL HOUSING
649553 Cover, hole, clutch control lever, assembly (To cover hole in flywheel housing)

I went ahead and used google and up pops Walcks.

Hope this is what you're after.

My 3A has a 641020 1 bellhouse with clutch fork holes on each side for LHD or RHD.  Is there any source for the rubber clutch fork boot?  Part #?  This same bellhouse was apparently also used on some wagons & trucks in the go-devil L Head years.  Thanks
