There are minor differences in fenders.� These have been well documented by our 3A historian, Bob Westerman.

But these difference are not alignment changes.� MB, GPW, 2A, 3A fenders are interchangeable.� There are a number of posts describing figment issues just like yours.� The MD Juan folks are working hard to fix these problems.� Sounds like you've received one of the kits that was made prior to the fixed versions.

I purchased a new MD Juan body kit for my 51 3A. I am having a hard time making the front fenders line up. The drivers side fits sort of but where the strut bolts to the frame the strut is about an inch forward of the frame holes. The left side fender seems to be to long and will not let the grill to be bolted in it's correct spot. I have looked at numerous fenders online and have noticed differences between early military and civilian. Where there different fenders for 2A, 3A or military?
