That was a fun trail even with the engine failure. We intended to go to the oil well at the end of a trail but time caused us to leave at the end of the main trail.

Next year we plan to go to the oil well and camp over night, if the Jeeps stay running.

[size=12]My 3A, Bob's 2A (CO), Travis' CJ-5 (NM), TC's Wrangler (Local), Jon's Wrangler (Local), and Carls 3A (KY).

Rest stop.

Moving out.

Stopped cold. Troubleshooting revealed a dead coil.

CJ-5 Driver and passenger jumped in with someone else and we went on.

Being the tail we had to close the gate on the way back.

TC and his Wrangler takes on the towing duty.

So far, so good.

Back to the trail head. Should we go for a tow bar and a truck?

No, just lengthen the tow strap and we're off.

More problems. Who invited Travis and his CJ-5 anyway? Fun day that ended well.
