I went to the canyon again but I thought I may know just where the ruin was so I drove down a side trail to the edge of the canyon wall. I walked toward the edge and determined about where I saw the ruin bellow and started down a rocky trail and there ahead of me was the ruin.

Here's a shot of the trail I climbed down.

Here's a shot of the ruin up close. It has a wall in front and a wall toward the back. I think this is a food storage ruin.

Then I got to thinking that there were two small ruins below this one so I started working my way down the wall and this is what I found.

On 8/21 I took a trail to a pinnacle between two canyons and glassed the canyon walls looking for ruins. In the East canyon on the East wall I found four ruins, two of which are worth visiting.

This is the best of two.

This is the second best.

Today, 8/22, I climbed a steep boulder strewn canyon bottom to climb to the ruins. Given the time I had I was only able to reach the least of the two ruins. Here's a photo of it close up.

In the back corner you can see signs of a camp fire smoke on the wall. Two smaller ruins appear to be food storage ruins but I didn't climb to them or take photo's.

Tomorrow I will go to the pinnacle and glass the wall again to find the best way to get to the better ruin. I may be able to descend the canyon wall rather than climb up.
