With a couple of hours remaining before sunset we set out to search for an old road we spotted a couple of days ago from a plane (Carl's recent post included a couple of photos from that flight).  This is the first time our Samarai friends have out numbered the CJs.  Because our wives didn't go on this ride I left my Jeep home and rode with Carl.  Mac and his wife were in Grand Junction, Colorado, and so they were missing from the group.

We located the old dugway leading down from a high plateau to a canyon below and started down.

We can see that it has been a long time since anyone has traveled this old trail.

Easy does it, Carl.

And, just before dark, we arrive at the bottom.  From there we take another road out to the main road home.  Another fun ride.
