Unfortunately I couldn't drive my jeep anywhere without paying huge reservation fees for guided trips as that was when the parks were closed off and the reservation folks discovered they could make money off tourists. I was about two years too late with my first 2A,which I had to sell to the local car lot, and never got my GPW running until I moved back to the Northeast. I always regretted not exploring the jeep trails in Utah when I was local to them. We did take the tow trucks on calls to Cottonwood canyon on occasion.. That was fun.
I too will be interested in your radiator report, having heard nothing but good about them I am surprised to hear you had any problems. My 08 Silverado has all aluminum condenser and radiator like all new cars, and lately it also is warming up on the very hottest days, but at 276,000 miles it might be tome to replace one of the rock damaged units, probably the condenser that is in front of everything. I put in a tranny cooler and as long as the temps are in the mid 70's and under it dropped tranny temp down to 210 and under from 235.
