Hi John, I was wondering what was up with that jeep. It will probably get all jacked up and be on 37's in no time now.

I got sick of fixing the jalopy, so I put the transmission and axles in Ted. A much more fun and practical jeep.

Hey Nate,
Good to see you checking in now and then.
So Ted's no longer bone stock, huh?
Ya just can't leave well enough alone. ;D

By the way, the Rubicon you sold my buddy John has moved on.
 :'(
He blew out his left knee this summer, had major surgery and can't drive a stick for about a year. He had to sell it to afford a different ride with an automatic. Very sad. He loved that TJ and hated to let it go. Such is life.

Engine, tractors, 55 Chevy trucks, my jeeps. I also bought a backhoe to move engines. Just been playing with toys!

Hi G-Gnome.

Tell us what's been chewing up your time?  You're always working on interesting stuff.  Or is it a girl? ;)

I havent put the V6 box in yet. And that picture may have been before I swapped out shocks. My tubes do hit the bump stops now when I flex it out.

Garage Gnome,

So how you liking the slower ratio of your V-6 HD Ross box ?
You noticing any more wheel play with the slower ratio box  ?

By the way that a really nice looking 3A.

Why the lift with 6.50 x 16 tires ?
Will your current shock length allow the axle tubes to hit the frame bumpers ?

Heres a current picture of Ted. Over the summer I put a 2 lift in him. Rides so much better now! Right now Im working on upgrading the steering. I got a factory V6 Ross box for him, which is way bigger than the stock one.

I've just been busy. Been on ECJ5 most of the time. I was looking something up and the answer was on here, so I figured I'd say hi.

That's right Muley, you never know what may happen next!

If you see an old tractor or hit and miss engine, we might lure Nate to Idaho.....Nate has a great video of him starting a (1918?) Titan tractor, and driving it around the yard....
