Yup,
It was quite a challenge painting that Billboard, first off its only about 10 degrees here so the paint was a bugger to try and dry, and hobbling around on the scaffold with one leg in a cast whipping that paint brush around was interesting as well.  Or was that a dream, maybe that was the box it came in, is it time for my Oxycontin????

Holy cow, ya got a huge billboard behind your new jeep too!

Hmm. something is not quite right about the color....

I'm still wanting to see the crate pics...

I was close, but not entirely right, Gunslinger..I think. I thought you had gotten the kit that included the crate kit as well. Saw them quite a while ago on the Gee . or was it Ebay....or was it a painkiller induced hallucination after dental work...I dunno. ;D 8-) :-[

So is it one of those plastic models? Or wooden?
Or a "Soap-on-a-Rope" Jeep in a little wooden box?
So what's your guess, Bill?

I know, we've all heard this before, but this is no %$%$#$!

Late in January I had to spend some time at the local hospital getting a rebuild on a couple of wore out knees.  But let me back up, I took up this Willys thing about 5 years ago, and I never ever figured that it would consume my entire family as well!  So here I am, laying in the hospital last month when my Bride of 32 years announces that through some very astute research, she is a librarian, she found me a new jeep to work on while I re-hab at home in February.  I said, new jeep, what are you talking about, well when we got home, there it was, a Willys MB in a crate.  Wow, was I surprised.  Well over the last few weeks I've been working on it and I finally have it all put together.  I'm just now getting off of the narcotics from surgery, so I can't take it for a drive yet.  But over the next few days I'll be posting pictures of the assembly.  It took more than I thought it would to pull it all together, but its done now and I think it looks pretty good.
As always, its the pics that count.
Don't touch that dial
Gun.
