Keep a eye out for a XJ Auto Petal assembly  ;D, Fort Collins is fun for a College student but not sure what else can be done there.

I found a pull and pay junkyard to tour this afternoon in Colo Springs, so I will hang out there till tomorrow and see what sort of deal I can get on a bunch of off topic parts.......There is a Willys wagon there, on some sort of Chevy chassis, got hit hard in the right rear...but still has a bunch of decent sheet metal if anyone needs..No grille. No other jeeps except one CJ7 and a pretty well stripped wrangler. Lots of xj's tho...

$49.99 motels instead of Limon's $64.99 places..with Internet too!

Aboyandhisdog, I will probably be up there tomorrow or the next day.. we will see what trouble I can get in down here first...lol.

Hey Bill,  Welcome to the Fort!  I don't know too much of what might be going on this week but will try and check it out and get back to you.  Seems like there is always a brew-fest or something but I don't know for sure.  I doubt the motels will be cheaper here than in Limon but you never know.  If you want to get together and take a hike or something, let me know.  With the fires, some of the nearby trails are still closed but we could head up the Poudre above the fire area and find one.

Don't know for sure if I'll make the Mt. run next weekend.  It will depend on the forecast later in the week.  We seem to be in a bit of a monsoon pattern here and if it will be a weekend of rain, I may have to pass that up.

If you want to get together, pm me and I can get you my email or phone#.  Have a good week!

Looks like I will be spending this week in or near Fort Collins, Colorado....Any thoughts on things to do in the area, local pick a part yards, jeep or VW junkyards, museums, or collections to see welcome. Friday and Saturday  I hope to attend the Northern Colorado Trail ride mentioned in our events section. THen it is off to Vancouver to work delivering windmill towers to Montana somewhere. :) Today I am in Limon , Colorado wher we delivered twice, but they are really proud of their motel rooms here so it is off to the west...
