Oh lord, what have they done now? First they made that awful green on gold interior in the Orvis ZJs, now they've gone off and put a VW engine in a flattie. Thank goodness its all repro and no original Willys was subjected to this.

On the other hand, the Orvis ZJs did get the full on Limited treatment and the complete "Up Country" suspension package, which is something I wish my 5.9 Limited ZJ had. I still gag each time I drive the 96' Orvis I got for my parents.

WOW, cheap at twice the price.  ;D I wonder if they have found any fools to buy them. The one in the photo may be the only one that has been made.

I was about to whip out the "Pay Pal" and order one until I saw you can't order online, you have to call the 800 number. That's too much work, maybe next time. And what's up with the VW engine? I've seen German engineering, They put wheels on with bolts instead studs and washers. Do you know what a PITA it is to try and hold a tire up to a hub with one hand and line a bolt up with the other?

...for only $115,000! :o And no, that's not a typo.

Now, it does have a VW TDI engine and some other upgraded goodies, but Holy Smokes!  I just thought that was hysterical.

Who knew I was creating such an investment? ;D
