Vacuum assist Brakes, not so much. �After diggin in a bit deeper I found a pair of what looked like electrical stud terminals? �No wires attached though. �When I finally took the seat out, laid on my back and wiggled under the dash I found a steel name tag. �"Warner Electric Brake" Kinda cool, but not going back in the system!
Got our parts from Walck's last week. All new Hydraulic brake system from Master to wheel cylinders. �Now its time for some lights. �Someone has added a 12 V alternater but haven't verified if everything has been changed over. �Gotta start tracing wires and see were it all goes. �Found the drawing on this site so it should be close I would guess. �Did see another curiosity. I've got a knob and cable in the dash that leads out to a large round switch of some sort. I'm thinking it may have been something for the plow setup? �We gave it a tug and got one supper bright front marker light. Flipped it off thinking it was looking for 6v? �Its got a half dozen cloth wires terminated on it.

Bendix Hydrovac units were common in the good old days. They could be installed just about anywhere and would provide power brakes. Just needed to be tapped into the brake line and have a vacuum supply. Definitely a cool period upgrade.

Nope,

 Last sign of movement was a chalk marking on the radiator shroud from 93.  The master was empty and upon filling it the fluid never moves. We stripped the brake system out of it and found the lines were full of junk anyway.  I'm with you though, this deal on the master looks kinda funny.
I'm headed  out on a short vacation today but when I get back Tuesday evening I'll snap some pics.
I'm assuming the pressure switch added just passed the lines going out is for the brake light?

That is goofy. �Any sort of brake vacuum assistance would be on the input of the system, not the output.  Was this system working or are you trying to remedy this mess? �Is it the stock master cylinder?  From what you explain and what I read from it, it sounds like you'd have 0 brakes. �Was the line that goes back to the motor terminated to anything? �I don't understand why someone would send brake pressure to somewhere else other than the secondary cylinders.

Gentlemen,
 
 ï¿½While trying to remove the Master cylinder we found a surprise. �Found the brass Y fitting with the front and rear brake lines, then a tee fitting with a steel line heading through the fire wall and then the switch. �The steel hose runs to an under dash round cannister which has another line that runs back to the motor. �I can only surmise that this is added for some vacuum? �Maybe to help release the wheel cylinders more quickly?

What am I looking at guys?
