I agree with Chasm.  I had a 48 in high school back in the late 60's.  there were numerous cj2a's around.  I can only recall one cj3a.  I frequent both sites for info but do like the cj3a site because of it being specific to my current project - a 51.  I did post a question I didn't get many responses on - I think one so far.  Where are the 52's?  I was born in 52 and thought if I am really going to dump a lot of cash into a project I would do it in a 52.  Through the years it just doens't seem you see many of them.  Am I right or any ideas/information on this.  Thanks, jeffb in south dakota

I'm pretty addicted, I check the 3A, 3B, 2A and the G daily, if its too nasty to drive a jeep I like to read about them and talk about them.  Also check ewillys twice a week.

Here ,G503,cj2apage same name.  I visit the latter2 almost daily unless out of town.  There is going to be a 49 jeep comeing up for sale.  I was informed tonight.  May be outright or at an auction they are going to have.  two jeep trucks and parts veh. too.  This is first notification  I will know more later and post it.  Somethinh about a enclosed trailer that fits the 49 also to go up for sale.  They are moving.

I read the 3A and 3B posts once a day, and the 2A posts twice a week on average. Very good info on all 3 sites, and always something interesting going on at least one of them.

Hey guys,
I'm on the 2A, 3B and the G as well, same handle.  I've had the same experience, the info on the 3A site is great for my Willys, but the other sites have great back up info, like the time I had rear seal issues, the G and the 2A guys had a lot of stuff on them to help me out, and they are all great to work with.
We're all Jeeps and we need to stick together

I belong to most of the vintage Jeep forums... same screen name.

My favorite is still the CJ3A Page... because the info here is more 3A specific. From what I have read, the CJ2A production numbers were significantly greater than the CJ3A, hence many more of them have survived & there are more people restoring them.

BobW will tell you how rare it is to have several CJ3A's at the same place at the same time! Usually, there are tons of CJ2A's at the various Willys shows... and the 3A's and 3B's are few and far between!

Yep, I am on CJ2A page as well. I have noticed that there is a considerable amount of activity on that site. Than being said I also frequent the old Willys forum since I have a 53 wagon. Regardless of where I have been the technical information responses have been great and that is a result of the great folks. I enjoy reading the posts on CJ2A and CJ3A. I may not have as many posts but I am on here and CJ2A a lot during the day. Since I have already retired once I figure this second job is really cutting into my Jeep time. I can't wait to get my CJ3A running in time for Fall Color 2012 tour. Now I just have to find a truck and trailer (and win the lottery). ;D

I forgot to add, we here have a list of members that is probably a tenth or less than what the 2A page has. And the Early CJ5 board memeber list is also HUGE, which may explain why those boards see more use. The board change also has caused the loss of a lot of members, I still get folks registering who were previously registered but lost their reg on the board change.  :(

I spend a lot of time at the 2A page,this page, the 3B page's dispatcher dj board, and the G 503 site, along with two metalshaping sites and the tractor and Cub cadet boards.  My handle is normally F Bill, altho on the tractor boards I am Truck and Truckntran. It seems like the 2A  board is the frendliest and one of the more active ones. The Early CJ5 board is also a good one.

The last few weeks I have been visiting the CJ2A site because it is, ahhh, dead here most the time. I guess the CJ3A's don't have as much issues as the CJ2A's.

They do have some interesting threads over there. Since the CJ2 and CJ3 are almost the same it's worth reading their problems.

Does anyone here post there too?
